CAPABILITY OF DIFFERENT BREEDS OF DONOR CATTLE TO PRODUCE EMBRYOS AT THE CIPELANG LIVESTOCK EMBRYO CENTER, BOGOR, WEST JAVA

The objective of this research was to investigate the capability donor cattle produce embryos by comparing three breeds, namely Bos taurus beef (Limousin), dairy (Friesian Holstein/FH), and indicus (Peranakan Ongole/PO). This observational method with in vivo embryo production a nonsurgical collection (flushing). data collected were then processed using one way ANOVA method. results showed that number CL, response rate, total embryos, recovery rate PO cattle, FH Limousin did not differ significantly (P0.05). appropriate be transferred degenerative different among (P0.05), while unfertil ova, fertilization transferable breed concluded each produced varies quality best is found cattle.
